Monday Morning - Geoff and Loz - NFB-NWS

NFB due to location. NWS for nudity.Monday morning. Loz awoke with an annoyed snort. The sun, bright and clear on a pretty day, sliced through the curtains, and managed to nail him across the eyes. "Mmm..."

Geoff lay still for a few minutes, enjoying waking up to a strong hand stroking across his skin. "Morning," he finally murmured, his voice muffled against the pillow.

Laughing, Geoff runs the water until it's hot and steps into the shower. "I've got to say, this is a luxury I'm not looking forward to giving up."

He sighs as he stands under the spray. "This and coffee. I'm going to miss coffee."

"What luxury is that?" Loz stepped in behind Geoff and wrapped his arms around him, his teeth scraping along Geoff's shoulder. "And you can't get coffee at home?"

Leaning back against Loz, Geoff made a low, pleased sound. "Hot showers. Or hot baths, for that matter. Hard to find back home, especially on the road. No...make that impossible to find on the road."

Chuckling a little, he said, "I think the point of this was to wash up, Loz. And no, there's no coffee where I come from either."

Despite his protest, though, he doesn't move away.

He became quite still and simply held Geoff for a moment. For reasons unknown, he had assumed Geoff was talking about the island as 'home'.

Funny. Was Loz beginning to think the island was his home too? How did that affect things.

Loz pushed all that down. Letting his hands roam, he cupped Geoff's chin and pulled it around to kiss him. "Washing. Right. I'll let you wash."

The man's momentary silence didn't go unnoticed, and Geoff returned the kiss with interest. Turning around, he rested his arms on Loz's shoulders.

"What is it?"

He shook his head. "It's stupid," he said with a grin and picked up the soap and washing cloth to lather up.

"I won't hold it against you," he replied, returning the grin. "But I'd like to know. You keep too much inside."

Laughing, Loz ran his soapy hands over Geoff's back. "Just...what you said about not being able to have hot water or coffee at home...it's stupid but I thought you were talking about...the town." He shrugged to indicate it wasn't as big a deal as it really was.

"Just didn't occur to me you might be leaving to go back to where...or when...you came from."

"I'm not leaving," Geoff answered. "At least, not anytime soon. Not even contemplating it, except the abstract idea that there'll be things I miss."

People I miss, he thought, frowning a little and then shaking his head, as if shaking the thought away.

"And mostly I do think of town as home, except when I'm thinking about something we don't have when and where I come from. How about you? Do have coffee wherever it is you were before you ended up here?"

"Told you it was stupid." Down over Geoff's back and ass, one hand slid around to wash down his chest. "We have something similiar to it. Just couldn't afford it." Loz said.

Geoff stretched a little, very much enjoying the washing he was getting, and then grabbed the soap to return the favor.

"I don't think it was, Loz. It is a...weird situation, feeling like you have two homes. Things may change in the future, but right now...I have no reason to want to leave."

Looking into Loz's eyes, he added, "And some very good reasons to want to stay."

"Yeah," Loz whispered in agreement. "It's not so simple anymore."

A slick hand rubbed along the back of Geoff's neck and Loz pulled him in. The kiss that followed was gentle and unrushed and Loz just enjoyed the sensation for what it was.

Geoff moved his arms to wrap around Loz's shoulders, kissing him back slowly.

"We should get going," he whispered once they'd parted. "Long trip back."

And when we get home, I'm going to sit myself down and figure out what this is. And then we're going to talk.
