This one really does hurt, but I am so proud of you for not being afraid to go there, or not being afraid to use something that people might not like. Do I like the thought, or the very vivid image of Sam getting it from some random guy? Nope, not at all, but I'm not supposed to like it and that makes this fic incredible.

You did an amazing job with this, really, I feel Gene's pain and I think now I need a drink too.

Yum, yum, for hot, angsty, jealous Gene. I liked your internal Gene voice a lot here, especially the need to overcome the pain caused by Sam's betrayal.

sorry I honestly thought I commented this before!

This was brilliant, I love how you capture Gene's emotions and I really can't wait for a sequel, hopefully where we see Sam offer an explanation (and it better be a "good 'un!")
