When love and death embrace part 1
Summary: what happens when Ville finds out Bam is dieing. Does Ville finally admit his true feelings for Bam, but is it to late for Ville.
Ville is halfway thought a tour round Europe with his band , HIM. Ville is backstage, relaxing after a show when Linde comes in. He tells Ville that he needs to ring Dunn as he sounds upset about something but would no tell Linde what was wrong.
Ville goes outside for a smoke when all of a sudden Ville mobile starts ringing. Ville answers it on the second ring to a very upset Dunn. Dunn tells Ville that Bam is in hospital. Dunn told he that Bam has lung cancer and the doctors does not think that Bam has long to live. As soon as Ville puts the phone down, he runs inside telling the rest of the band and Seppo “I‘m going to America straight away”.
Linda notices that Ville is upset so he ask Ville what is wrong. Linde then notices that Ville has been crying, so decided to ask “what is going on, Ville?”. “Bam has lung cancer” is all what Ville said before running outside to get a taxi to the airport. Mige and Linde goes after Ville. They catch up to Ville outside. Ville brakes down in Linde’s arms, saying “the doctors don‘t think Bam has long to live”.
Mige and Linde agrees to go with Ville to America. The journey was a nightmare for Linde as he spent most of his time comforting a broken Ville. Linde was telling Ville “everything will be all right. Bam is a fighter and he will get thought this. You need to keep telling yourself this”. Mige just sits their nodding his head in agreement with Linde because that is all he could think of doing and giving Ville a hug, saying the same as Linde told him.
As soon as Ville gets to the hospital, Dunn tells he that Bam wants to see him. Dunn also says that Bam has refused to anyone until he has seen Ville. Ville walks in to the room and walks straight over to Bam to give him a hug. They hug in silence until Ville brakes the silence by asking Bam “why didn’t you tell me you had lung cancer”. “I didn‘t want to tell anyone because I didn’t want to worry anyone”. Ville brakes the hug to sit on the edge on the bed facing Bam.
Ville looks into Bam’s eyes that used to be so full of life new looks dead like the eyes has lost the sparkle they used to have. Ville ask Bam how long has he got left to live. “Doctors say I have three days left to live. I wanna spend the three days with you and only you”.
The next day Bam says goodbye to his friends (they do not know it will be the last time they see poor Bam alive) and goes to a place by the beach. They spend the first day having fun at the beach. Ville gets Bam to berry him in the sand which Ville does.
The second day, Bam knows he does not have long left to live, so he wants to spend the last few hours with Ville inside the house. Bam tells Ville he does not have that much longer left. Ville turns to face Bam. “there is something I want you to know. I wanted to tell you before but never found the right time or the right words to tell you. I love you. I fell in love with you the moment I met you. I‘ve never felt this way about anyone else apart from you”. Bam looks into Ville eyes and sees that everything Ville has just said was true. Bam leans in to kiss Ville. The kiss was slow and full of love.
Bam brakes away to tell Ville “no matter what has happened, I wanted you to remember all the good times we have had together, like the time when we got drunk and had nidint tattooed to our asses. I want you to know that you have been my best friend. You were their for me no-matter what has happened. I loved you as a friend. The love grew more as the time went on. ”
