So much pretty on one page. Wow.

I love the Sam/Teyla fic, but the Sha're/Jack/Daniel fic??? Oh, my. Gorgeous.

Hee :) YAY for pretty!

So glad it worked - I wanted to give Abydos some oomph without it being too weird or foreign or cliched or whatever, you know?

Thanks so much!

oh! That last one is heartbreakingly beautiful. I love how Sha're and her people protect Jack from himself and how he returns the gesture at the end. Beautiful.

THe other are also cute.

Oh, thanks. Jack was in such an incredibly dark place when he went to Abydos, you know? I figure they could see it, if not understand it.
So glad it worked and you enjoyed it. Thanks again!

I think I like it when you're busy and shouldn't be writing because you seem to write better! I absolutely loved the Sha're one.

I hardly ever read SG-1 fic, but I really adored the Sha'uri one -- so gorgeous and evocative. It really recalled for me the aspects of the show that once upon a time made me fall in love with it. Thinking of O'Neill as he was in the movie era, an angry and broken man unwillingly accepting this gift from a woman he barely knows -- and then the contrast with him, years later, having learned and seen so much, standing up for Daniel as his brother ... oh, lovely.

Oh, I'm so glad you gave this a chance then and that you liked it. All the characters have really had huge journeys over the years, but Jack's biggest changes probably came more early on and, yeah, glad the contrast came out well. Yay! And Thanks!

(And....eeeeee! You posted commentary for "Running on Empty" *is so runnign over to your LJ after work today*)
