I did that meme where you put your playlist on random and write a drabble in the length of the song. I think you were supposed to pick a specific fandom or whatever, but I just wrote because let's face it, I kind of hate following the rules. I think you can really feel Izzie's quiet desperation in the fic, which is a great accomplishment, especially when you take in the length of the piece.

And I love that you wrote her moving on, which is something we don't really see in canon.

I suck at writing drabbles normally, so I'm glad I got the point across effectively enough.

It's kind of like progression and regression with the show. On episode you see her ready and willing to move on, and the next she's stuck right back in the beginning of season three. I don't know. I think the writers tend to use it as a plot device, but I really wish they'd stop and let her move on. Izzie is so underused these days!
