Title: Constants
Summary: It's foreign to her, this feeling of needing. It's a good thing they're a walking contradiction.

GREAT line, and so very Mary. I really enjoyed this little history of them - insightful and a bit melancholy. I liked that Mary shows some self-knowledge about how hard she can be on Marshall, as well as her pledge to do better. Nicely done!

6-9 just ROCKED, m'dear! Great introspective Mary, trying to figure out the dropped pieces of her life. Glad you wrote this!

I can't even tell you how much I loved the little details, like this line:
“You want to go get drunk?” He asks out of nowhere and she looks up to find him looking down at the file in his hands.
Because: SO TRUE. Poor Marshal, always looking at things-that-aren't-Mary when talking to Mary. :P
In conclusion: I love you now. <3

Mary’s not really sure what that means
I could shake your Mary senseless. But its true to character and a gorgeously simple and profound piece. I absolutely loved it. :)
