Ooops, so I left the comment saying you should post this and then two seconds later I see that you have.

You are sucking me back into this show with a couple I don't even care that much about! I might have to break out some season one dvds and cry a little over how much I loved this show.

Do it! Then maybe you'll write more fantastic PB fic and make my life? But no, whenever I get depressed about this show, I break out the season 1 DVDs. They equal perfection in my mind, and I swear, it started a whole slew of linc/vee fics that I just have to get around to finishing. It's sad.

P.S. I'm almost done that Rufus/Lilly fic. Not sure if it's anything spectacular and it needs your insightful beta touch, but I like it enough. lol

Holy crap. *sniffles* I am tearing up here!

Just beautiful, you have captured the essence of this relationship so acutely, I can almost taste the poignancy in that moment where Vee walks away. *sighs*

Tries to imagine a life without Lincoln - the good and the bad - and knows that it’s impossible.

The angst in those words is just heartbreaking. Perfect for Vee.

Bravo, my dear girl - I love this so very much. Thankyou for sharing it. *g*

Reading this makes me think back to a time when I was in her place. You perfectly captured the push-pull of emotion that one thinks will surely drive them insane.

I was never a big L/V fan when I watched S1 but then I read these fics: http://www.prisonbreakfic.net/viewseries.php?seriesid=35 by americanoutlaw/domfangirl and I fell for them. I'll have to add this to my favorite L/V fics. Just very poignant.

I've always been a fan of Candy's work, so the fact that you've lumped this in with those fics is such an honor. I'm glad you enjoyed this and connected with it like you did. Thank you for your kind feedback.

Dude, I read this days ago and then forgot to leave a review!

I'm terrible!

Anyway, maybe I can blame it on my heart being ripped from my chest? yeah, I'll go with that.

She looks back, just once, but he’s already gone.

You have such a way of making it fit, because this just resonates with their meetings in Fox River for the first what, four eps, I guess. Just really painful, and sparse, and the illustration that there is this deep well of love between them, though in later times they don't acknowledge it.

Gah, gah, gah!

So yeah, heart, broken. Affected my typing. Better late than never, right?

Have a happy New Year!

Well, as long as you had read it I wouldn't have cared! I'm glad you enjoyed.

I'm so very sorry about your broken heart. However, please know, that you should really blame Lincoln and Veronica. When I think of them and all the plot bunnies they give me, not one, ONE is happy and fluffy. They just radiate angst. And what can I say, I love angsty OTPs.

Happy New Year to you, too.
