I really enjoyed this. It's so bittersweet and I could really picture it in canon. I love the understanding that Gale and Jo have and the acknowledgement that Gale was in love with Katniss but that he wasn't enough for her. Lovely.

YES, keep writing all the HG fic!! I actually saw this recc'd on tumblr and was like, hey, I know that author!

Ha, I really like this bittersweet little fic. The end of Mockingjay left me with so many feelings and while I was happy about Katniss/Peeta, I also felt so sad about Gale and the loss of the friendship. I like to think that he and Jo provided each other some bit of solace. :)

Well, clearly you need to write more HG to satisfy your tumblr fans, esp if it has Peeta in it! Haha but if you did write more in this fandom, I would definitely read.

And I feel you on the fandom thing - I have a feeling as soon as I meet this little girl, it is going to be placed on an even bigger back burner than before. It's hard to keep up.

I am terrible. I have let this sit here and forgot about it, and I never left you any feedback.

I love the way you've written these two. You've picked up on the exact reasons why I think Johanna and Gale would work together, how Johanna is so much like Katniss but different enough that it's not like Gale would latch onto her as a replacement for Katniss.

Just beautiful. :)
