What a perfect note to end my evening on!

You just capture them so well, even in this different (exciting!!) stage of their relationship.

And I love how the teasing and banter meld seamlessly into this undeniable heat and intimacy between them.

All those little observations by him were fantastic, but something about that one just grabbed me.

And, obviously,
“You’re ruining the moment.”

“We’re having a moment?”

“We were. You ruined it with the smug tone and cheekiness.”

“You love me,” he says too quickly, unguarded, not thinking at all.

Thank you! I usually eat angst for breakfast, so fluff in any form is difficult, but this series or whatever I seem to be writing, calls for it! Sometimes, you just want to write people being happy and doing fluff-like things, right???

OMG, what a wonderful treat for a Sunday evening... I adore the banter about the closet, that Harvey can't bear sharing her apartment because of nosy neighbors and oh yes, his predessors, that Harvey clears space for her of his own accord (I was just discussing with family a family friend who had to be yelled at by his godmother/landlord so he would clear any space in any of the bedroom closets in his house - that is a clear sign someone doesn't really want to commit), and of course how Harvey cannot just let anything go and tweeks her about letting him seduce her. Just so in-character for both of them...

Although briefs? I thought we had all seen that Harvey was a black boxer-brief man (which he of course looked AMAZING in) ala Play the Man. I'm pretty sure they are microfiber, not silk, though...

Just so you know my entire reaction to this was just like: 'something awful is going to happen. oh god no. something is going to.. she's going to get angry. oh no please. no angst. no'

BUT THEN IT WASN'T

It was lovely and perfectly in character. And I simply realised how crazy I was. Thank you for this loveliness!

lol I'm checking my tv forecast widget (thing's brilliant don't know why I didn't think of using it before -- reminds me of what shows to download daily) and uh, ELEMENTARY. I was going to love this show even before it aired anyway (bitter Sherlock stans fuel me like that) but man it is actually really good! The dynamic between Sherlock and Joan (Watson) is so well-crafted and beautifully balanced and the chemistry between Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu is superb. favourite new 40-min show of the season, no doubt.

still following Last Resort so far because it's giving me Battlestar Galactica vibes with the whole navy thing but I'm tempted to give it up.
