That's exactly what I thought, it was kind of like Elizabeth was the cool older cousin who snuck the young teenagers drinks at the family wedding.

And Jen considers it, sips her Merlot (because she kind of likes the way it stains her teeth and makes her feel grown up) and nods, saying, "he does laugh at all my jokes."
And Elizabeth laughs and reaches for the bottle of wine, topping off their still nearly full glasses. She says, "That right there says it all, hun. Because your jokes are really bad."
And, yeah, now I want to write fic and I DO NOT have the time....
