This was lovely and quite sad at the same time.

While Caroline has Stefan and to a lesser part Damon to help her adjust to being a vampire and she has Elena and Bonnie to lean on, Tyler is utterly alone. Jules is trying too hard to win him over and he doesn't have anyone he can actually trust.

I wonder when he'll return to Mystic Falls and how he'll react to seeing Caroline again?

I really do hope he comes back. Not just for the C/T aspect of it all, but also because the boy needs somebody he can trust and I don't think that person is Jules. Her motives just don't seem all that genuine, yes? I've accidentally stumbled upon some rumors/spoilers, and I hope they aren't true. There are just too many things left to explore with both him and the Caroline/Tyler relationship. It has so much potential!

Anyway, thank-you for reading. I was a bit nervous with this because A) it was my first time and B) people who write these two tend do it very well, so I'm glad you liked it :)

I love Matt/Caroline, but I like Tyler/Caroline, too. I'm so torn! I hope they bring him back... I do miss their interactions. Actually, I really just miss this show. How much longer until new episodes?

You already know that I love this, but really your Tyler voice is spot-on perfect. And reading through the comments on this page...I think I know what spoilers/speculation you're talking about and I really hope it's not true either. I was talking to someone else about this, and all of these kids (Tyler, Caroline, Matt, and really everyone) has *so* much to explore, individually as characters, and further into their weird, interconnected, complicated relationships that it would be a waste to not go deeper.

I hope Tyler comes back. Both because I want to see what happens between these two but also because I actually miss him. How did that happen? I couldn't have cared less about him last season!

Oh, wow, this is so so good, so spot on, everything from the little details about driving with Jules to Tyler not really what he feels but thinking that it could have very well turned into love. And his family dynamic, the way you showed it here, with all the complications entailed there, and just, the way you strung words together, if that makes any sense, this was just so lovely to read and made my poor shipper heart ache for T/C and dammit, boy needs to come back! Seriously, though, thank you for writing this, it's brilliant.

HE REALLY DOES NEED TO COME BACK. And soon. I miss him. I've said this a million times, but I really, really do. Last season I didn't care about him one bit, but now I'm waiting anxiously for his return - even though he might not.

I lied. It's the Caroline/Damon fic of yours: "Your Innocence is Mine" is the one I was thinking about! I have a sort of obsession with those two. Not that I want them together exactly, but their dynamic is sort of irresistible. And excellent fic for them is so rare because people often forget about who Damon is and who he was to her, so it was a nice find. I never left you a review, but know that I loved it immensely! I've been itching to write them again myself.
