Johnny Storm has pushed the boundary between them so far that she can barely see it anymore.

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. I LOVED this!!! And yes, multiple exclamation points were definitely necessary. Pepper Potts and Johnny Storm? Such a huge win! I never ever would have considered it but here, in this, you convinced me completely. The bantering was so spot on and I love the way you write Pepper's inner thoughts.

It causes something glorious to pool in the pit of her belly.

And I loved the way you reminded us of Tony, glancing at them, sending her a message. He was in the story but not really and I loved his background presence while Pepper and Johnny were front and center. I'm not making sense, I know, but I hope you realize that I loved this!

I really enjoyed this. It's a perfect representation of what definitely could have happened post IM 1.

Her phone vibrates in her pocket. It’s Tony. Where are you, Potts?

She doesn’t answer.

Not sure why but I especially loved that line -- represents everything there is to know about Tony and Pepper.

Great stuff per usual :)

Yeah, IM 2 kind of screwed it up, but at least no we have the possitibilty of these two actually meeting? Wouldn't that be some sort of awesome?

Eventually, he wears her down (or maybe she is just too tired to begin with, and it is really just giving up, but either way it does not even matter - years have blurred the line between the two and Pepper can’t tell the difference anymore). There are drinks, finally and he smiles at her as she enters the bar, bright and shiny and new and even in the middle of a bitter New York winter, she is warm.

Yeah, that too. Completely sold me on the two of them and if I weren't 100% in love with T/P, I'd be a supporter of this pairing.

This is really great. I love flirty!Pepper, because she'd totally have the "Mr. Whoever" form of address down to an art form. I like the maybe-almost-outright jealousy from Tony, and the way it makes Pepper like Johnny more. I get the feeling (since it's been two weeks and he's still pushing that boundary) that Johnny's probably more than a little smug about that too? Which cracks me up, really, 'cuz Tony could totally take him in the I'm-more-macho-than-you-department. *g*

Beautiful imagery for Pepper's reactions to Johnny and Tony, and is it just me or is that very last snippet just a little ambiguous as to which "he" she is kissing?

Although I love me some Tony/Pepper, I think it would be nice to see the tables turned with her flirting with other people and him on the sidelines. Thus, this was born.

Tony could totally take him in the I'm-more-macho-than-you-department. *g*

He SO would. And you know what? I'd actually like to see that.
