Lovely, as always. The second mark has always been the most fascinating to me.

Thank you. Yes, the second mark was the only one he gave her that wasn't necessitated by saving her life. That was all him, and oddly the one that she never really thought that much about.

read up to Blue Moon. Actually, Obsidian Butterfly was good too, imo. My fave is still Circus of the Damned.

Lovely drabble, as always :) I never really got the second mark...I still don't, but it was nice to see things from Jean-Claude's point of view.

How do you mean you don't get it? Don't understand why it happened, or how?

*iz curious*

I get that Jean-Claude needed to bind Anita closer to him so that he would survive and be strong, but I never really understood exactly what happened...There was wind and blue eyes and then it was over. What exactly went on there? What exactly was the mark? Later on it will be a taking or exchange of blood, but what is the second mark?

I always had these questions, but they never seemed overly important because I understood the why of it all, you know? I understood the purpose of the second mark within the plot, just not the how and practical purpose (outside of Anita's circumstances)...I think that's the best way I can phrase my misunderstanding :)
