Richard wanting something that he knows will ruin him...I think you give him too much credit for being aware of his own feelings :) Oh well, very insightful nonetheless and I liked it.

Thanks, but I think that in the last couple of books Richard at least gets an idea of what he's doing. He does practically admit that he can't be with Anita anymore cause she's not human enough for him, right?
