I have always enjoyed conspiracy theories, although I ascribe to few, if any. I just wanted to note that I am naming no names... as with all conspiracy nuts, I am now paranoid that my "discovery" could lead to dramatic repercussions. And large companies dedicate some IT resources to search through blogs and websites for company references, potential espionage and plain old bad press.

Back when the shadowy evil was the military-industrial complex, they would take care of such annoyances with a bullet or explosives. Since we are dealing with the agricultural-industrial complex, I am afraid they would use something like ricin, or cornhole me - with a whole corn plant, not just one cob.
