Today's mission was a roaring success. Not only did I sign the lease on my new apt., but I found the nicest apt I've ever had for only $800/month. It's a really big studio, w/ a huge kitchen (lots of counterspace, cupboards, and a nice big island as well!), 10 to 11' ceilings w/ exposed brand new shiny silver ducts and one full exposed brick wall

Thanks!! I'm incredibly happy with it. My mom took some pics while I was talking to the realtor, so I should have those tomorrow (pretty sure she went straight to bed after we got back tonight, it was a long day). ^_^*

Yeah, it's even more amazing than I've described. I wish the pictures were better (I still haven't gotten them from my mom... she was supposed to email them today, but is prolly swamped @ work after she took yesterday off). I'll get better pics taken on moving day!

(You can see it for yourself, tho, when you guys visit, which you're under direct orders to do! You have no choice in the matter, hehe. ^_^*)

It was my understanding that they were given up for adoption in February........ I've done my best to put all thoughts of them behind me and firmly in the past. It was the only way I could deal w/ it.

How could he still have them? .........I am at a loss.

oh i dont know if he has them for sure or not - all i know is that he was going to try to find them homes over taking them to a shelter. it cant hurt to see if he at least found them homes. just inquire.

on another note - i found a postcard of a sunset with the image of a bull for you. have you found a job yet or are you moving out here first? $800 is alot for a studio. Now that I have my 2 bedroom for $900 total I realize how expensive a studio can be - its crazy. But as long as you love ti and can afford it thats all that matters. See you soon.
