As part of the funpotexchange. It was tough removing myself out of the PoT/FE for a week to attempt to write my first non-canon plotline AU, but I am very proud of my work. :) Also, the amount of shenanigans I had to come up with was quite a lot for me XD Hooray for expanding horizons, yeah? Carmina Burana beats out any of my writing anyways... ><

The band arrangement has 13 of the 25 movements (we didn't have a choir with us and we don't have orchestra, but the arrangement was really good to cover the parts). I played it in my senior year of high school and it was epic. I am sure I sat in front of the timpani and close to the gong in that song. Ahh, the crashes.

Ah, I'm not asking you to like Sanada/Yukimura (in fact, I temporarily forgot that you didn't because I thought you haven't had read anything else I've done). It's alright - I think my writing is not good most of the time.

After a while, I remembered I should have used matey a bit more often than mate, but it works anyways. Nope, I didn't know you were a pirate - what a revelation! XD

I've heard a high school orchestra + band + all their choirs perform O Fortuna. It's quite incredible. I'm sorry that you got stuck behind them. *pat pat* I hate the sound of crash cymbals on marches if I'm in front of them, but I don't mind them as effects and accents in other pieces. But yeah... if I was in a choir, I'd probably be annoyed by quite a few instruments.

THAT AD IS HILARIOUS. I LOVE IT. The reason I heard O Fortuna was 'cause they used it as a song on Dancing With the Stars last night and it gets stuck in your head.
