Okay...today was a totally random day.  My host aunt came to visit us from Yokohama seeing as yesterday was an important 'family day'.  But that's not what I am calling 'random', what was random was all of us (host mom, sister, aunt, grandma, and me) going to Karaoke for 2 or so hours.  Everyone sang a few songs and I learned that my Host aunt has

You know what's weird, though? Today I was originally planning on going to a sushi bar, but the day didn't turn out like that in the end. Well, I at least hope you had something tasty there! xD

Well...my singing...? Truthfully, in my opinion, I'm not BAD. Everyone said I had a cute voice when I went to the high notes. =)

I love those suchi bars. I don't know, they feel more convenient. But try using the sushi bar style with a regular restaurant. XD

Well, I often go to a Japanese-style restaurant with a lot of authentic stuff. That one feels like actually being in Japan! ; )

I bet karaoke's different there than in America. Here in the US, it's in front of literally the whole bar.

So, how big was this mall you went to? Two stories?

Yeah, Karaoke is completely different. I'm pretty sure it's the same thing in Canada as in America too. Here they have those super cool rooms with comfy couches and a huge TV with mics and the works. It's awesome.

The mall, Jusco, usually can be 3 floors with the 4th floor as a parking lot. The one in Inuyama that I went to is only 3 with the 3rd as the parking lot. Alot of stores though, very nice. My town has a pretty crappy one floor mall. >.>;
