So for this year, I had two videos that I edited in the Premieres show. The first I did in a mad rush the weekend before the deadline (taking a break from my auction vid) and the second I did waaaaaaaay back at the end of last year.

Alice in Wonderland was fookin' awesome. I remember once having a conversation with someone about the idea of timing a vid entirely to the vocal track, except it always just seemed like... well, a fairytale. (I'm so witty at 2:30 in the morning.) But this is just all manner of awesome and funny. Bowie = Queen of Hearts, naturally. Much love.

There's Too Much Light In This Bar - I don't know why, but this vid in particular reminded me of The Gentle Art of Making Enemies. Like if I didn't know you made both, I would have made that assumption anyway. I think it goes down to the fact that you have the most amazing grasp of matching/translating visuals to audio/words that I've ever seen.

I am extremely frightened of your insane goodness.

Have just watched "too much light" and have yet to stop shaking. That. Was. Fucking. Awesome. The song was a thing of beauty and the clip choices just perfect. And Gene! Jesus H Christ. You've just distilled his essence into 30 seconds. Brilliant, brilliant video. This one will go straight to my "repeated watching" folder.

PS. Post on lifein1973 please, I would like my fellow fans to experience the awesomeness of this vid.
