INITIATE: G A M E 。

[Silence sinks in, and the bell chimes once again. At the end of the third toll, the air thickens, almost suffocating, and then-nothing, save for the warm breath of fire rampant in the burning city of Nuadoria. But there is something different about all this; the communicators come to life, and a voice speaks, neither male nor female, quiet, yet demanding in its message.

The Mindflayer speaks, and the cat and mouse game of Lucavy begins with a flash of light to the north, from the wind dam, and to the south, from the sewers.

Two additional ghosts accompany this messenger: Belias the Gigas, and Mateus the Corrupt. They roam the earth and the sky, waiting...]

Lucavy has begun.

NOTE BEFORE READING: this is subject to editing, so please check back tomorrow night so Seiko can go over this and make any adjustments. If there are any changes, she will make a note in the OOC comm!

This event will ICly only last about two hours, meaning, we might be RPing this for a couple of days, but the actual timeframe will be contained within these two hours. As soon as the universal message ends, two lights will shine in Nuadoria, until it fades away at the end of the second hour. These lights are the glyphs, and it is your character's job to disable them, though they will not be given a clue on which glyph it is exactly that they are disabling. Perhaps the Natives will know, and will answer, if asked; no one said anything against gathering information. They might also know how to disable the glyphs.

Here are the details, as follows, and please use the map and locations post for reference! It might help you guys from a lot of trouble, and feel free to infomod some of the information here, if your character has been in Nuadoria for a long, long time.

Belias' glyph is located at the wind dam, to the northern part of Nuadoria. There is a single skywalk that connects the city to this dam, and you can see it from the food/supplies shop. It is quite long, and the path is dangerous. You will be attacked by a large snake upon entering the bridge, so you should hurry. ♥

Mateus' glyph is located not too deep in the sewers, to the south of Nuadoria, beyond the residential district. Childs roam this area, however, and characters might often feel swarmed by them. It is quite dark, and the light will be of great help in navigating the sewers, but you should hurry-the light is quickly fading with each passing minute. ♥

The light surrounding the glyphs are kind of like this: case A and case B. The light will be growing dimmer as time passes, so time is imperative!

As for the ghost of Belias and Mateus, feel free to assume that they are nothing more than ghosts at the beginning of the event. Of course, as time passes, fixing the problem will be more imperative. Belias and Mateus will begin to solidify in Nuadoria, and the two hour timer is just a marker for just that. At the end of the first hour (we will make a post in the community!), some of Belias and Mateus' attacks on Nuadoria and its inhabitants will hit, and there will be collateral damage. Belias will roam the earth, and Mateus will be flying around the skies.

Feel free to make log posts for Belias and Mateus! Or make network posts calling out to the Natives. Any questions? Ask me here, and I'll get back to you; I know I don't make a lot of sense when I type these info posts, so hopefully I'll be able to answer you better in comments.

NPC PLAYERS, if you have no idea wth I'm talking about, message me on sprawlaround (AIM) or drop a message on plurk! Or e-mail me at sookeungli[at]gmail[dot]com, and I'll get back to you asap.
