It was shortly after a brief round of simple introductions that Itachi had set off his familiar -- a black raven -- to scout the area. And fortunately for the Uchiha he was without need of the communicator light as red hues flickered throughout the darkness with complete ease. Of course he was silent, with no need of unnecessary words and yet he was completely on-guard, wary, and never losing sight of the objective that was given.

As simple as the task may have been, Itachi was cautious but not without a sort of anxiety that laid heavy in his chest. A sort of automatic alert system that held a heavy weight of anticipation in the unfamiliar scenery.

He himself was rather inconspicuous as far as a group, as they were. His steps were near-inaudible and breaths were even more so. Hands were obscured by the long sleeves of his robe as he kept a steady pace beside them, fingers gripped around the sheath of a blade that was hidden by the cloth ( ... )

Likewise, Ginny was more than prepared for this sort of mission. She'd been around Harry Potter too long not to imagine the worst kind of trouble to get into and expect missions like this. She almost wished he were there with her. It'd be just like old times. Minus the fact that it wasn't June ( ... )

A lot was standing out.

But, the Necropolis was a place within Nuadoria that even before all of the death and destruction occurred had been warped and, in some sense, an entity of its own. (Ever changing, never standing still-akin to a river reflecting the movement of endless time with the shadows of the dead.) And for the life of him, Caim couldn't place anything necessarily odd or out of place for the Necropolis and what it was.

At least, nothing other than the fact he was beginning to wonder if they were being sent in circles by the city, which caused a small scowl to flicker across his face momentarily.

"I hate this place," was his response to Akihiko, which didn't really answer the question, but was just as good as a no all the same.

He paused, glancing briefly to the three of them and finally spoke, hoping they'd take the hint and confirm or deny their own feelings on the matter, "...I feel like we're being subtly led in circles."

"Could do with a better map," said Akihiko by way of agreement. He stopped to turn his device around in his palm, checking their current location on the grid. It was Caim who'd first shown him the layout of the area back on the surface, but it barely helped when standing in the midst of all these identical labyrinthine streets.

At this point Akihiko would even welcome a battle, just to break the monotony of all this. Did Caim even know what they were searching for? This was a pretty large hunting party for only one set of usable eyes.
