[He doesn't get it. He just doesn't get it. She's just standing there carrying on like nothing happened, like she didn't just die in the most gruesome fashion, leaving blood all over the damn floor. He saw the body, moments before he was dragged out of the casino, yelling and fighting those damn ...whoever they were... all the way.

The sight of Azmaria now gives him pause -- he's still not used to the fact that she's all grown up now, and it doesn't help that she still acts like a damn child in so many ways. Maybe that's what gets to him. This isn't a kid's game, and he doesn't know why this damn place is dragging kids into it, but it pisses him off.]

[He lets himself in the door, like he always has. Closes it behind him and leans against the wood, arms folded and a scowl etched on his face.]

You'll have to be able to protect yourself before you can protect anyone else.

[And Azmaria understands that this isn't a child's game. Yes, her death has effected her. In fact, she feels like absolute shit about it. She's good at just pushing things aside though when it comes to her own personal problems. That's what she always has done.

When Asch enters, she turns slightly to face him. Frowning, she nods.]
