What: Brawl based on a Bet. (Aka. Gamma is baiting TYL!Moto, by making terms TYB! can't refuse to meet.)

It was too bad, really, that he'd gone and lost his temper when he'd made that challenge, because setting up a duel meant that he couldn't drink himself to complete oblivion the day before, and that was a goddamn shame. A casino showed up out of nowhere and here he had to restrict himself to light sampling.

Which still equaled out to enough liquor to floor a horse, but hey.

And speaking of horses, Forte had tagged along for this bad idea, and Gamma almost felt guilty about it. The idea of having anything associated with Caim near him when he was doing Millefiore dirty work made him uncomfortable, but there wasn't much he could do except order the familiar to stay out of the way and not interfere. The Volpi were gifts given for the protection of the Giglio Nero, and Gamma could justify using them for vengeance. Forte was Caim's gift, at least a little bit, meant for Gamma's own protection, and didn't need to be used in a duel against bait.There was no doubt in his mind that the older Yamamoto would show. So that's maybe why he didn't say anything at all. He was silent as he stood there, jacket off and sleeves rolled up to his elbows as he tapped the fingers of his hand against the fabric of his pants. He didn't need to say anything, because this wasn't about words. This was about what Gamma had wanted from the very fucking second he'd started this fight with his younger self. This was about what he needed to do, and he was going to do it, and he wasn't going to hesitate, and he wasn't going to apologize at all ( ... )

He'd been waiting. From the moment the sea bird had left, because it wasn't out of the question that it had gone to get help. Forte had surprised him but there was no reason to think that even if another familiar couldn't speak with its master that it didn't have the same amount of intelligence, and maybe it was special circumstances, anyway, with the two of them being the same person ( ... )
