He was lucky he had found her window on the first try, as having Heine or Badou answer his tap wouldn't have been quite so nice. Not that they would have noticed anything there at all, which Nill didn't at first. She had been sitting on the floor in her room, sprawled out in a small pile of rocks she had obtained during her time in Nuadoria. It gave her something to do, collecting them, and she needed something since there wasn't anything else for someone like her to do.

Hearing the tap on her window, she jumped to her feet and looked around her room, and didn't feel safe to approach the window until she took notice that neither Heine or Badou had come running over. Either they hadn't heard, or they had and passed it off as nothing. Wondering if it was an animal of some kind, she went over and peeked outside, but didn't see a single thing.

It was upon a second glance that she noticed the shining glass and the ribbon. Mouth dropping open, she just stared, unsure of what to make out of the fact that they were floating. But eventually ( ... )

There was another low laugh, seemingly out of nowhere, then the glass was placed on the windowsill, left to glimmer in the faint light. Griffin had never been the athletic type, and he'd need both hands to jump the window, which he did without hesitation, brushing past Nill's shoulder and knocking her hair askew.

"Whoops, sorry there -- ahehe." An apology that was anything but sincere, drawled in a twanging Cockney accent that seemed to come from just behind her. Though, this changed quickly, as Griffin took a few invisible steps around and to her right, leaning on the windowsill, studying her closely.

Cute girl. But with wings. Real ones? They didn't look fake. Was this another freak, like that Hyde? At least this one wasn't a hulking monster. (Though he'd keep an eye out, just in case.) Twirling the ribbon around his fingers -- it was as if it were twisting itself in thin-air, snakelike and mesmerizing -- he gave her an unseen smile.

"I take it you're Nill."
