I wrote something really profound about war in response to what you said, but then I accidentally closed the page. Rather than try to recreate what I was clumsy with, I must say that war cannot be fathomed by anybody. I feel like no one really understands the magnitude of even one second on earth. at any given moment, over seven billion individual thoughts are running through people's minds. There can be so much happiness and despair at the same time that it's hard to know what to think. I feel that I will never understand the costs of war, and for that alone I would stay out of it. It is too difficult to weigh out suffering and oppression to know what is right and wrong. I don't want to write more than you did, but I might have. Say do I goodbye.
