hey. :) i'm sorry for bothering you. i'm sure you get random stupid comments all the time. but i just wondered how you got it so your little lj guy is the blue fox. i've got the site the one you have up came from, but i don't know how to use them other than to write them in html every single time. do you have an easier way? again, i'm sorry for bothering you. and thank you if you have time to help me. oh, and random... i'm in love with your style you made... i might try to use it. but i'm not sure how well i'll be able to figure it out. haha

Well it involves some extra code, which comes in two parts. The first part I got from this post. That should replace the lj user icons on the friends page and in the comments. The second part is supposed to replace the lj user icons that you type in an entry. This second part is a little more complicated though, and I don't know how to do that with the Component style. :(

I tried getting it to work with Component, but that was a long time ago, and I gave up pretty easily. :)

I might as well mention that if you use the Transmogrified style, it's really easy to change the user icon. There's an option in the Customization Wizard for that.

I'm sorry to bug you with a stupid question, but I found you through wingedfigment because of your amazing calvin & hobbes mood themes :) i was just wondering if it's even possible to use them on a free user account? i thought it wasn't possible, but someone told me it's possible. thanks for the help!
