It's one of the Christopher Guest improv movies, in the vein of Spinal Tap, Best in Show, For Your Consideration, A Mighty Wind

This small town community theater is convinced that a big time NY theater critic is coming to see their show and that they will be 'discovered'. It's shot faux documentary style. So So SO funny. Well, for theater people. Non-theater people don't get it. AT ALL.
