For the lovely cs_whitewolf who pestered me to write this. It's not quite like my original plan - mainly cos said plan was concoted at 3am one night and I've forgotten most of it - but it's something at least.
Missing Scene (that only exists here and in my head XD) fic for episode 4x10
Characters are Dean, Castiel, Sam, Anna and Uriel.
Setting in the barn towards the end of the episode and it picks up from when Anna kisses Dean
As Anna kissed him, Dean knew Castiel had to be watching him.
Having a former-angel-who’s-about-to-die kiss you as your secret-boyfriend-who-is-one-of-the-angels-sent-to-kill-said-former-angel-who-kissed-you looks on is not the best thing in the world.
Dean wasn’t surprised to see Cas look away the moment Anna’s lips left his.
“Cas...”
“It’s not important Dean.”
“Yes it is.”
“What’s going on, Dean?” Sam looked between his brother and the angel.
Dean took a breath and locked eyes with his brother.
“Sammy. I.....” He couldn’t get the words out.
“You ..........and Cas?”
“Yes.”
“How long?” Sam’s eyes were glistening with unshed tears.
“Just after I got out of the pit.”
Castiel broke the silence that followed Dean’s admission.
“Sam. I understand how you must feel.”
“No you don’t! You know nothing about how I feel right now. You just waltz in with all your angel powers and stoic attitude and just take him away from me like I’m nothing.”
Dean moves to pull a now sobbing Sam into his arms.
“You’re anything but nothing to me, Sammy. I love you.” He looked at Castiel. “Both of you. I know it’s wrong for me to be with either of you but I can’t help it.”
Anna and Uriel looked at the three men in shock and puzzlement.
“So you guys are together?”
“No....... Yeah..........Kinda.” Dean didn’t quite know how to answer.
“Dean and I have an intimate relationship. Sam and Dean also have an intimate relationship it would seem.”
“We have done. From the moment we started hunting together again”
“This is wrong, Castiel. The bible forbids it.”
“I cannot change this, Uriel. Dean is important to me.”
Sam pushed himself away from Dean and infront of Castiel.
“What about me? Did you not think I should know about this? He’s important to me, to you know.”
Castiel didn’t know how to answer. So, without thinking, he grabbed the younger Winchester and kissed him.
“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have done that.”
“Wow.”
Everyone turned to face Dean, who was standing rooted to the spot, eyes filled with lust.
“Uriel, leave us.”
“Anna, Go now”
Dean stepped into the embrace of his angel and his brother and felt at home for the first time in years.
