Cutting it close for getting this up and running tonight but I'm here. doing as I did before - posting during ad breaks. I'm unsure about tonight. I've actually stayed mostly spoiler free for this - all I've read are the episode synopsis - so this is all new to me

As endings go it's pretty shocking so if that's what they were going for then mission accomplished.

Part of me is so happy he's definitely going to be back next season but I don't want him to be evil. I don't want him to be the Big Bad. WHY DO THE SHOWS I LOVE SO MUCH DO THIS TO ME?

SUMS UP MY FEELINGS. love the idea of Cas being a bamf but hate the idea of him being evil and the boys killing him just cos they're mad.

BAMF!Cas is something I will always want but not if it means he gets killed off cos Dean's all pissy.

That said, I can understand why Castiel reacted that way to Dean. He asked for Dean to trust him and give him the benefit of the doubt and he didn't. Hence the whole 'bow down before me' bit.

yes same! i will never forgive the writers if they kill Cas just to make the show all about the boys again. they should have just let Cas leave in some bamf way so much earlier if they didn't know what to do with him anymore.

oh hell yeah! it was an over-reaction but it had been coming for a long time!

BAMF!Cas is FTW. To be honest, I can't see it going any other way now. Which is so disappointing as Castiel is such a brilliant character and added a whole new dynamic to everything but I think his death is now a forgone conclusion.

It really was a bit over the top for him to go from being BFF's to nothing so fast. Maybe if they hadn't had to wrap it all up in 5 minutes cos it was the end of the season it might have not made people go so mental (i.e me)
