I still stand by that Jimmy is dead. And even after all he's been through, if he were alive, I don't think he'd just join the boys hunting or anything. He'd go back to Amelia and Claire.

I really think that Misha won't be around next season. he's either going to a) die for the cause, b) find God/have his powers reinstated and return to Heaven, or c) become human and maaaaybe a hunter. But I suspect we'll see him once next season if we're lucky. More likely, we'll just get some comment from Dean about a, b, or c and never shall we hear about him again. :P

I WANT him to stay, but I think since they insist they're going back to the format of S1, no one will want a third accompanying them in the backseat of the Impala. Plus, they've so poorly used his regular status this season, they'll just frak it up.

I'm not sure he would go back to Amelia and Claire. Given what happened in The Rapture, I think it would be a case of he'd want to go back but eventually realise he can't so that they can live out their lives as normally as possible.

If he's not going to be in next season as a regular, then having an moment where his departure is explained really has to be there otherwise the writers will get asked about it a lot.

If they do get rid of him, give him closure of some kind. It's the least he should get IMO.

I would be nice to still have him there but you do have a point - if the PTB are so adamant of going back to the season 1 format then a third person might not be as welcome as they are now.
