As soon as you say that they'll do something awful.

...that thing looks funny.

I doubt they read every network post. It's not like I'm talking about open rebellion.

Phylliidae. They effectively mimic leaves.

I didn't mean it like that. Just that as soon as you think things aren't too bad you'll be proved wrong.

Why not just get her a plant?

What's the worst that could happen?

Because she likes insects.

I think that kind of optimism is promising. I'm going to adopt that idea.

Go ahead, although I don't think it was genuine optimism. I like to imagine I'm not capable of that.

That's a stick insect. Have you tried the pet shop?

I did, but they only had Carausius morosus--the kind that looks like a stick. I'm looking for something leafier.

Have you tried asking if the pet shop can get one? I don't know where the shops here get their stock from, but I haven't seen them out with nets.

I'll inquire.

Forest?

It would be a good place to look.

I'm just very bad at catching insects.

That could be a problem.

It is. Insects tend to leave when people fall over next to them.

Phylliidae.

I can obtain one quite easily actually.

Yes.

Where from?

The forest.

I know that.

Finding and catching them is the part I have difficulties with.
