I really need a date, I think. It's not like I want one or anything. Seriously, I've been quite content lately. But, I think I need one, psychologically.

You see, this Sylvester Stallone movie came on TV yesterday evening. It's called Get Carter and he plays this very posh "mob enforcer" from Vegas. Anyway, it came out in 2000, so he's older in it

Sly Stallone and Harry Hamlin totally formed my opinion of what the "right" guy for me should look like. So much so that when now-ex and I went to Great America while we were dating, the woman doing the caricature sketches drew us as Rocky and Adrienne. Sometimes I wish I still had that picture despite where the relationship went, it was pretty darned good.

Headlight lenses are not all that difficult to replace. I've done three on my now-gone Civic. Yes, you read that right. Most of the time, those mounts are made of plastic (as so much else on a car is nowadays grumble mutter) and can rip out fairly easily. If the mount broke rather than tore, you might consider jury-rigging it with Gorilla Glue (trust me, superglue won't be enough). Just be careful not to glue it to the car itself as you'll never get it free again LOL.

I think that if I ever met Sylvester Stallone, I'd ask him for a hug. It just looked nice. He has a niece in that movie I watched and he gave her a hug and it was almost like she disappeared.

"Mr. Stallone, may I give you a hug? But you have to hug me back... I have a theory I'm testing."

Cecily and I actually found full headlight assemblies on Amazon for not too much money. Amazon has car parts. It's weird! I'll probably get one on my next full pay check.
