Back to work - still cold as all hell outside.

*pushes soggy salad away* The TARDIS drove me safely to work this morning without a mishap over the icy side roads. Only the free way is dry as a bone but I didn't even get up to 40 MPH the entire way to work, which is fine. I was expecting that. So no problem ( Read more... )

Yeah, that was quite possibly one of the best sitcom-endings of all time. I was in hysterics myself, he was so adorable. I don't know why Jim Parsons hasn't been nominated for an Emmy yet....

Hey, want to drive me to work this week?

LOL Honey, you should have seen me while driving this morning...in the dark. You could have bounced quarters off of my neck!

Did you make it to work yourself this morning?

Hah. I TRIED. My car spun in place trying to get up Beard, at the intersection with Murray, and couldn't get traction. I finally managed to make it to the top, after wasting an entire green light (and all but losing the contents of my bladder) and decided the car thing WAS NOT WORKING. I turned onto Murray, then onto Sapphire (at about 2 mph) and my car started sliding down Sapphire sideways, towards some parked cars. I stopped about six inches from the cars, managed to straighten out, and then go home in one nervous-wrecky piece. UGH. I must have really crappy tires or something, because my car just freaking hates the ice.

My stupid DVR had a stupid recording error for BBT while I was watching SCC so I didn't get to see it. I'll have to go to CBS' website and see if they have it up yet to watch online. pffft.

As for Heroes, I'm mixed about the episode. I'm kind of getting annoyed with Sylar's issues, he just needs to work them out and either be bad or good (I suspect he'll still turn out good) and stop messing about in the middle. I couldn't help but think the whole scenario of him locking them in and taunting everyone was a bit Saw-like minus the gore and all of course. I am rather curious as to who is parents really are though.

And I love Ando too! I've liked him from the beginning, the faithful sidekick who never waivers and now he has an ability of his own! I think the supercharge is kind of cool, imagine what he can help others do now with it. Awesome.

yayyy for Worf, Michael Dorn as the Pres! The voice totally did it for me, it's unmistakable. Too bad we didn't see more of his face though :P hehe
