No worries - I haven't exactly been a prolific poster lately, so I didn't expect anyone to tag me. :-)
I agree about Devil in the White City. I'm a project lead for a big project right now, and I found myself really feeling for Burnham as his project seemed doomed from the start. I am amazed they finished, and that it was such a success. Even so, I found myself wanting more of the H. H. Holmes story everytime he cut back to the fair.
Just started Count Zero, so I can't say whether I like it yet or not. I've liked all the Gibson stuff I've read so far though. I really enjoyed Pattern Recognition.
i'll tag you...and not just on thursday ;) so, what have i been reading?
-the eldest by christopher paolini (just finished) -the noisepop music guide/schedule (religiously) -italy a capricious tour -foder's germany -uh, the sf chronicle
Finally got around to the DaVinci code...just started yesterday Before that, 'The Kite Runner,' 'Lovely Bones,' 'My 50 years in Hollywood,' and 'Alphabet Sisters.'
I recommend all five, although the Hollywood book is a very light, quick read...I just needed a break between the sagas of Lovely Bones and Kite Runner before I started DaVinci.

"Count Zero" is good. So is the Erik Larson book, which I read last summer. And Make magazine is lots and lots of fun.
