Exciting news...my uncle's first novel was released today. His name is David Marusek, and the book is called Counting Heads. He's a science fiction writer, who's written several highly acclaimed short stories. I ordered the book on Amazon, and it should arrive in a few days. Me too. Add it to the queue. (There should be a NetFlix style online queue, but for "Books I Intend To Read Next" with a link to your local libraries so you can check them out when they're available.)

Haven't tried it, but it's described as "Netflix for Books". Seems like they only have mainstream paperback titles though.

Lots of libraries have online tools now to search the catalog, reserve books at different locations, renew books, etc.
