You just HAVE to love the part where they're chained together. It gets all the fangirls to the series I bet XD It's so...fluffy! Handcuffs but the fluff overrules so much >_<
Watermelon toothpaste, the kodomo kind. Ick. I used those before. SWEET >___< Lovely fic XD Very warm and fuzzy ~~
*grins sheepishly* This whole fic was actually just an excuse for me to write naive!non-Kira!Raito, because he's so underappreciated and I love him so much. He lacks a lot of complexity, I know, but it's basically the only way that he can co-exist somewhat peacefully with L. (Also, he's easier to write, and I'm always lazy. ^_^;)
Surprisingly unfluffy for a fluff fic. Where are the declarations of undying love? The cute baby talk? The two content to live together with Significant Things passing unspoken between them, affectations that are endearing rather than annoying? (OK, so you had that part. Although it wasn't so much "endearing" as "accepted")
I love this! The way you capture L's personality through his actions and Raito's through his reactions. The shirt thing is something I've never considered. Innocent Raito can be fun too! His ability to accept is astonishing; you did a good job of capturing that here.
I love Raito's reactions to Misa. Favorite line: He isn't surprised when later, in the cinema, she takes every opportunity to bury her face into his shoulder, and he spends his time wondering about lipstick stains. Ha ha ha Raito you are such a compulsive freak. <3.

This was borne entirely out of a hilarious handcuff scene in a certain Korean romantic comedy - I'd never have thought about it on my own. *grins*
His ability to accept is astonishing
It is, isn't it? There's just something very adorable about him; it's not that he's any less shrewd, nor any less willing to expect the worst of human nature - it's simply that his priorities have changed. I find myself very willing to believe that, if there's a true Raito, this is the one.

Also - I labelled it fluff just for you! So that you'd stay away if you didn't like, which I clever suspected you didn't, so go me! *is happy*
Isn't just so fluffy, though? I sort of meant it to be, and then I regretted it after, but there's nothing much I can do about it now, so.

I don't think this was sappy at all. I think it was really well-written and detailed. I highly enjoyed it! ^^
Haha...chains. That just screams fan service. I think it was completely unnecessary but I love it just the same.

But L was so nice to Raito, and he wasn't s'posed to be. He even gave Raito cream!

Doesn't it just? *grins* I bet chain!fic alone makes up half of all the Death Note fic ever written.

That line made me smile. XD Wonderful work with this. I love all of Raito's non-serious observations. ^^
