Why don't you just get rid of it? It might be better then keeping it...around you.

I want to, I really do. But I'm a little nervous what might happen. It might be a trap to assume it will be like last time, and expect me to react that way.

But then they might be hoping I'll assume they would expect me to react and choose not to react, thus making it even more clever than I could imagine!

It might be better to get rid of it, given that you seem anxious with either results. At the very least, if you get rid of it and nothing happens, you won't have to worry about it after.

There. Whatever trick's Mayfield was planning, I just stopped it in its tracks.
