Chicken.
trekwriter gave me this book for Christmas that, on first glance, seemed to be your average cookbook. But on a close look it was more like a novelized cookbook. Each recipe has a story. Not a how I came up with this recipe story but a story told from the chicken's point of view. Listen to this

Oh my, looks like the cherries made quite the mess of the pan. Back before we went vegetarian we tried a chicken dish made with cherries and found the cherries too overpowering.... how did you like the popped cherries recipe?

Sorry I took so long to answer. The cherries were not very noticeable. I think they just kept the chicken moist. Tonight is trussed chick with tangerine.
