I can relate to how your are feeling because my kids are a bit older than Brandon. (By the way, you need to post some recent pics of him, haven't seen him for years!!) With my kids, when my eldest graduated high school I feared his life choices would take him far from us. Years later, circumstances have brought him closer to us than ever before...along with his wife and baby. So it's AWESOME!!

"Her" is 1 person in particular, 1 person maybe, so 1 and a half. Both people were okay with a certain thing about our relationship but once we weren't together, they went opposite, which I thought would happen and was for the best. :)

I assumed you'd get the song reference. Joni Mitchel.. The seasons go round and round, painted ponies go up and down, we're captive on the carousel of life... That song? I was commenting on the passage of time, and how, when looking back, there is some sadness sometimes. And that sometimes, I hate the way time passes so quickly, before I can manage to set everything just right.
