I was asked to write an article for DiyCityMag about the two sewing lounges in Albuquerque. Thought I'd share the article in case you haven't heard about the lounges:
For basic classes, the prices at both lounges are similar. The Design Lounge's more advanced classes are more expensive.
You may have to call Teresa at The Design Lounge for more details about an Open Sew. It wasn't mentioned on their website and we didn't discuss this when I was at the lounge. However, they may offer it and it just isn't advertised, or perhaps they haven't made formal plans to offer that option.

Also -- did you do a comparison of prices? The Design Lounge is much closer to me -- do they have an open sew?
