The Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Paradox

Only in quantum physics do you get sentences like this: "The resolution of this paradox requires an understanding that local realism can be violated in quantum mechanics." (from Optics & Photonics news, March 2008, p. 28)

I can see it as a new complaint among young siblings. "Mom, she's violating my local realism!"
