It's less the amount, and what happened. Some of the floods were... unpleasant.

There was another Barge. Some of us changed. Some of us didn't. To contradictory versions of ourselves, in a place where the inmates were corrupted rather than redeemed.

[That wasn't him. He needs to remind himself again it wasn't him.] Others remained the same and had to conceal themselves among the Barge populous.

People have left and returned. Some have graduated. Some disappeared.
