Well hot damn you rocked the hell out of this prompt my dear! I saw that summary line and I knew this was going to be good. You didn't let me down.

“Thank you for taking care of him...of our son.”

So sad, yet so perfect. Kate was there when Aaron was born after all so I can totally see this coming to this point.

Love it!!!

Thanks so much! I'm glad I didn't let you down ;)

our son made me squirm to write, because as much as I love Kate, he should be Claire's and Claire's only...but I could see how Claire would relinquish that to Kate and be okay with it, from the afterlife at least.

Thanks again; so glad you enjoyed it!

As a general rule I'm no much of a slasher, least of all a femmeslaher (I do read it but sparingly) but I admit that this intrigued me. I love the moment when Claire embraces her and Kate feels so acutely all the points of contact between them, breasts and hips etc. It was subtly done, you could have interpreted it in more than one way, and that sort of subtlety is always a pleasure to read, because things are left unsaid but implied and gah...it's just wonderful.

My favourite moment in this is when Claire echoes Charlie's words from TBotE - I am dead, but I'm also here - and then sort of grins, like it's a joke. That just really tickled me (and my inner CC shipper).

Cheers for a wonderful read!

I'm actually not much of a slasher, either, so I understand your hesitation. Thanks so much for giving this a chance, despite that, and for such lovely, detailed feedback! I'm glad the subtlety worked for you - I do tend to prefer implications to exact details.

*g* My new inner CC shipper enjoyed writing that, so I'm glad you enjoyed it, too! I like to think that, in this universe, Ghost!Charlie and Ghost!Claire get to hang out and haunt a lot together :)

Three times? You mean killing Sawyer? Because I *so* didn't kill him in this one! Honestly! Hurley was reading the names of those who *chose* to stay on the island, too. Of which Sawyer was one. So no, not three times! I can't do that to Kate, not kill Claire *and* Sawyer, too.

Aww, thank you so much; I'm so glad you liked this and liked Kate/Aaron! Yay, thank you! That's awesome.

Now I'm being invaded by visions of a dead but real Sawyer appearing to Kate. :P
Ooh. Plotbunny? But eh, like I said, he's not dead here ;)

So glad you liked it, hon. Thanks for the lovely feedback!

Hell yeah ^^

I knew that I was gonna love this even before I started reading, but damn! I really love it! Also the same line Charlie used with Hurley, "But I'm here too." Nicely done. I love the way you've written the whole piece and wow, this memorial might come on screen someday and it makes me very emotional reading this because it might come true.

Lovely job! ♥

Thanks so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed this :)

I do hope that eventually they can have a memorial for those they've lost...God, how sad would that be, though?

Thanks again :)

This was amazing! The moment between Claire and Kate was incredibly powerful. You would hope that if Aaron had to be torn from his mother, he is with Kate because Claire wanted him to be. The whole "I'm dead but I'm here" moment was a nice touch (as was Kate remembering Wayne's voice) because you can perhaps hope that Claire has a partner in whether world she is in. Also, I am fixated on the idea that Hurley would be hosting any reunion party in his backyard!

Thank you so much! I really do hope, if Claire were to die, she'd be with Charlie somehow, perhaps haunting the O6 together ;) I'm so glad you enjoyed this.
