But the couch is a whacky prop because it's just so darn large and curvaceous. Definitely the way Laura and Bill move closer and closer on it over the years is story unto itself.

It looked like a globe to me, which was sort of odd..."Why here's Earth! Search over!"

Or a basketball? One of those odd medicine balls of old workouts?

Yes, I agree it looks like a globe, but... that makes no sense. A helmet? A pyramid ball? I just don't know.
