Hair

I need coiffurial advice. Most people reading this are probably familiar with my current hairstyle -- it's pretty much the same as the one in this picture taken two years ago. I've also had it for about four or five straight years now (and had it previous to some other intermediate styles). If I want to keep this style, it needs cutting in the ( Read more... )

Didn't you have curtains at school like every other late 90s teenage boy? They need to stay in the 90s, to my mind...

Why not just grow it and see what happens?

I changed my hair last week; now I have a fringe.

I think I had a nice sensible side-parting to start with, then grew a pony tail for a few years, then got my current hairstyle and pretty much stuck with it. My main dalliance away from it recently was first year at Oxford when the whole lot got spiked up for a while.

As to "grow it and see what happens" I think I remember you saying that the time my hair starts to look bad is when it gets too long to gel and I just leave it...

...but I really can't visualize you with the haircut pictured. Your friend is right- as pictured, it's something out of an early-90's TV series.

You know what there's a need for? Barbershops that advertise as hair consultants- people who have a decent idea what will work on one's head, and can teach the customer the proper way to style it so it looks at home like it did for that brief moment after the haircut.

Ahah, you see - girls' hairdressers already do that. Maybe that's the reason why we pay so much more...
