I have seen some of the most interesting outfits today....hmmmm Target is breeding, ummm can I say old lady outfits? (that was a very polite way to say it) Feel patriotic people, but really do you need to make a skirt and matching shirt out of flag fabric ( Read more... )

I walked into a grocer down the street from here that was open, and the first thing I noticed was that there was not a single American flag anywhere within sight (and this was a national chain). Before leaving though, I did notice a small flag that one of the cashiers had placed over her register.

I'm betting you can blame the current weirdness in the stores on the change of fashion from the 70's to some mish-mash of the 50's and the 80's, which are two decades that I don't think go together. Um. If I made any sense just then, it was only by luck. :)
