Someone's gotta look after this stupid lump.
Her stomach dropping, she forces a small laugh. Thoughts flash by in her mind -- the look on her mother's face when she told her she was leaving school because of Jimmy (your father would be so disappointed), the moment she realized how she'd fooled herself, visions of her trying to tidy up Mickey's flat -- but clearest of all is the little voice that's telling her, There you go, Rose, another great chance wasted.
When she hears the sound of the Tardis reappearing, her heart skips a beat.
She doesn't have to think twice.
