[Everything has changed since Rebecca was taken. Her best friend is gone. Her roommate? Returned home. A close friend of hers had died. Before she can find out any of this, though, she has the side-effects of her own recent experiment to deal with.

But she's got something else to deal with first, it seems.] R-Rebecca... [She swallows, not wanting to have the conversation she's about to.] You're back.
[OOC: I... have no idea where I want this to go, whether I want Lyn hurt or what. But there's no way she could possibly ignore this.]

...And now his gaze affixes on Rebecca. And here he comes, charging toward her with lightning speed. He's going to go right for a grapple if he can. He knows she can't beat him in that sort of combat.]

[It's all she can get out before the arrow slams into Adell's shoulder. Lyn's eyes flicker to him, worry clear in her face. She might not know him, but he clearly knows Rebecca and he's done nothing to warrant an arrow in the arm.] Are you all-
[And once again she's cut off as he suddenly lunges forward at a speed which, by all rights, no one should be able to move at without some sort of magical assistance. She just... stops, standing there in shock as he closes the distance between himself and Rebecca.]

And then the real Adell pops up behind her. But instead of delivering a shattering attack, he instead tries to grab her into a full bear-hug bodylock. He'd pin her arms against her body and use a lot of strength to make sure she can't move.]

Before she can really think about how he managed to do that, her body moves toward the two in reflex. Gripping her sword and turning it so the blade's behind her, she rushes in to try and hit Rebecca with the pommel.]

She doesn't struggle long, though. She can't even try to dodge Lyn's attack, now that she's being restrained. It takes one good blunt hit to get her to stop struggling, and she's instantly dazed. She had been pushing her body to the limit, since she's very exhausted, thirsty, and hungry from mallynapping.
After a moment of just staring, not even forming a coherent syllable despite her efforts, her head just limply falls to the side...with her mouth open, no less. She's down.]

[Once he's sure she's unconscious, he gently slides her to lie down on the ground. He then removes the rest of the arrows she has from her quiver. At that point while still crouching, he'll look up to Lyn.]
What happened? Did she come back like this? [...And then he notices the blood trickling down her leg. Hard to miss at this angle.] You've been hurt...

[She turns her attention to Adell at the question, then blinks at his observation.] Oh, that... it's nothing, I'll take care of it after we've got her safe. As for what happened, she's been placed under the effects of a spell from our world, called berserk. It... well, it does just what it sounds like. She'll just attack anyone who catches her notice. And yes, I'm pretty sure she came back like this.

...Do we have to get some kind of magic to remove it? Like, Espoir or a dispel spell or something? And where should we take her? To the clinic, or...?

[And he picks up Rebecca into his arms carefully, making sure to support her head.]
Come on, let's get her there. Can you grab her bow? I don't think she'd want to lose that. ...I'm Adell, by the way.

[She grabs the bow and gives him a quick nod.] Circumstances aside, it's good to meet you, Adell. I'm Lyn.
