...there is a rather stormy looking Yorkshire man looking for you at present. Looking rather thoroughly, and scowling a bit.

jaenelle, merlin

Merlin will probably be around somewhere, smoking his pipe and pondering his new resolutions.

He's got no idea what Childermass looks like, or that he's looking for him, but. He's there, nonetheless.

Go figure what he's thinking about.

Childermass has done his homework; the Merlin also exists, albeit as a very old historical figure, in his own canon. And if there's one man in England who has been subjected to books on magic, it's John Childermass.

So he approaches and says, "Sir. You are the Merlin, are you not?"

Well, that's new. A quirked eyebrow.

"Why yes, I am, m'lad." Friendly enough.

T: I just realized Phedre hasn't seen Kay in a while. Care to throw him at her open post? Just a thought.... She does have a drama free one, earlier in the com, so you've got plenty choice. XD

"Huh," as if he were expecting someone taller, perhaps, but then he continues. "Have you been altering the mind of azi Lynette?"

Jaenelle is looking worried and frowny and holding a cup of tea when she almost runs into John Childermass. And spills tea all over herself, swearing loudly in Eyrien. "Oh - oh, damn, I'm sorry," she adds quickly, then looks up.

He actually might look mildly amused, for a very brief moment, but then says, "Are you the lady Jaenelle?"

She cleans up her dress and nods. "And you're...oh, I wish I could remember these things."

She looks as though she's rather distracted. Well. More than usual.

"Childermass. It doesn't matter. Have you been talking to Lynette?"
