Childermass is not a man who could ever be described as cheerful, even by the most charitable of observers. Lynette pretty much runs to him, but stops short of crashing into him and tries not to look like she's bubbling over with excitement. "Ser!"

Jaenelle's wandered outside and is singing to herself in her strange and rather unearthly voice, until she wanders around a corner and sees Childermass, upon which she stops abruptly and stops singing, looking embarrassed with a little noise of surprise. She was distracted.

However, she does give him a curious look and a bit of a smile.
